Lulu Hot Spring in Haiduan, Taitung is a must-visit destination for anyone who enjoys hot springing. The entire area is a mind-boggling geologic landscape that is well worth the journey to get there. It is a bit daunting of a hike, but one that you will not regret doing. It will be a bit of a strenuous hike for novice hikers because of the terrain and distance, but with time and persistence, it is definitely manageable. Due to its location, it remains a dreamy wild hot spring and not a heavily touristed hot spot, like many other hot spring areas in Taitung. For those who are teetering whether to endeavor on this adventure, one thing to keep in mind is that often more remote locations are the most rewarding.
